Allo Boss with OSMC

Hi all

I have a Raspberry Pi 3 B.
I purchased an Allo Boss yesterday.
I have reloaded Noobs to the latest version.
I have then installed Raspbian and OSMC.
I have updated and upgraded the Pi firmware as well.
In hardware support in OSMC I have selected Allo boss as the sound overlay.
I have disabled the onboard audio in config.sys .
The soundcard is not picked up with aplay.

That is as far as I've gotten.

Anybody that can help me please?
