I am looking at getting a decent amp/Receiver as I want to start building up my HT.
First I was looking at getting the LG ARX9000 but thinking if I build a component system up myself I might get better quality, what do you guys think?
Anyone know where I can get a decent 5.1 or 7.1 amp or receiver I want it to be atleast 110W or more per channel and it must play the Sound from the HDMI through the surround sound, as I have been reading through the forum etc I see alot of the receivers only have the picture through the HDMI and not the sound.
I am looking at spending around R3K.
I was looking at the pioneer vsx-521 k it was selling for R3100 at Catz but they do not have stock.
I have even gone to Cash Crusaders etc but they only keep cheap Dixon stuff.
Even if I can find a decent second hand unit or even a demo.
Any advice would be appreciated.
