The gardener of a friend of mine bought himself a 2nd hand PC because he wanted to use it to convert music to MP3s for his cellphone. The seller appears to have done a dirty, and for all I know it's hot goods, but....
The thing goes through an enormous boot-up process, establishing al sorts of stuff as if it was part of an office set-up, then asks for a password, which obviously he doesn't know. I tried bypassing Linux, but all it does it take you into the section for setting the PC date and time, boot-up process, etc.
Does anyone know how I can reformat the HDD for him so he can get a simple version of Windows (yes I know, *shudder*) and media player loaded?
