Seems i end up coming here for advice on non AV items.

So our main bedroom mattress is due for a replacement and im looking for some advice on brands / ranges to look at.
Going to a shop and laying on one for 2 minutes doesnt sound like it will be an educated decision, with all due respect the 20 year old bed expert's advice i also dont feel is sound.
So this leaves me with the best alternative option of word of mouth and personal experiences.
Im 1.8 105kgs misses is significantly less than me so i dont think we need some heavy duty type mattress, im looking for something medium firm that is comfortable and i can wake up again feeling fresh.
we both sub 40 no prominent health or back issues.
Would appreciate on some advice on what brand and range to look at around the 20k mark.
