Both my fiance and myself have found ourselves retrenched within a month of each other, and having paid UIF all my working life we darn well intend claiming, even though I understand it's really a small percentage of your salary. I have read up on all the forms I need to bring through on the day, but I see there seem to be companies that offer to do all the paperwork on your behalf so that you don't end up spending hours and hours in a queue only to be told the staff are on strike/on lunch break/computers are off-line/etc. Does anyone here have any experience or suggestions to make the process a bit easier?
