Anyone using 50 or 100 disc ccd changers?

Hi everyone
If anyone is using a 50 or 100 disc changer, i would like to know if its worthwile getting one?
I remember technics released a 100 disc changer a couple of decades ago and reviewers said that the sound was noticeably poor.is it realy the case?
Also what sort of prices can i expect to pay?
