Anybody got experience running an Apple TV 4 with the ShowMax and Netflix apps via an AV amplifier?
ShowMax via my Samsung TV is giving issues on random movies and episodes - it keeps buffering while other episodes just work fine. (Showmax support has tried to help but no solution as yet) Screen Sharing from my Cellphone to the TV is not ideal either.
Currently Im running my Netflix app via my Sony Blu-ray, but it requires UnoTelly just to enable Netflix. Im very happy with the performance though, getting 1080P dolby Digital + within 30secs with no buffering for the SA Netflix.
So one option would be is to move my ShowMax and Netflix to an Apple TV4, it will also allow me to plug it into my old flat screen via HDMI. Ill also be able to can Unotelly.
I'm really hoping for a short review of the Apple TV 4 and if it will solve my issues running both Showmax and Netflix with DD+? Or are there other cheaper options?
