Ive started noticing that there are a lot of Monitor Audio speakers that are been advertised at a lot of different places at what seems to be very good prices yet they take a while to sell, ive also noticed a lot of the new Bronze 6 on Gumtree and the likes..
Could it just be that there are so many on the 2nd hand market that buyers have so much choice that they can take the best offer, but then that seems to set a precedant for others prices, so if someone is very desperate and they lower there price to something silly then no one will by that type of speaker unless they get it for the ridiculous price someone else sold at and then this has a snowball effect..
Maybe im looking at it wrong but i remember a while back you used to see lots of B&W 2nd hand but the most popular 2nd hand speaker to be seen sold now is Monitor Audio..
Look at Normans ad, R27000 for GX300 is a steal IMO for what they are and yet they stand, the new model is supposedly better but at the price difference i cant see why you would by the new Gold 300 over this unless you want a brand new speaker only..
