Hi
I bought these cables with Kimber Kable banana plugs fitted on all ends, at a price i might add.
Using them(3 x 3m, L,R,C) with the Q Acoustics 2000i 5.1 cinema pack with a Marantz NR1504 receiver.
The sound is very detailed, but very smooth and laid back, a little too laid back for my liking.
I find the cables with this combo has robbed some 'excitement' from my system.
I was previously using cheapo cables, 22 awg, and the sound was a lot more exciting but lacked bass.
I am thinking of changing the wires to the QED XT40.
Would this bring an improvement or is there perhaps another cable you could recommend?
