Yes, one can have peace of mind knowing that you are insured but the hustle of claiming and likelihood of exorbitant increase in premiums makes it better to just find ways to reduce the likelihood of a strike. I know the best protection from lightning is to disconnect from the wall but that’s not always possible. In my case, my AV equipment is behind sits behind a false wall which makes it inaccessible. While there is no foolproof lightning porteiction, what’s the best one can do to make the risk minimal.
