Hello Experts and Gurus
I inherited a Home Entertainment System, no idea what it's worth, works like a bomb though. Called the JVC th-a55. It's a 5.1 system with an active sub. The specs as follows:
Satellite speakers: 80 W per channel, RMS at 6 C at 1 kHz, with 10 % total harmonic distortion.
Subwoofer: 120 W, RMS at 4 C at 100 Hz, with 10 % total harmonic distortion
Long story short, a leak poured directly onto system, and insurance has agreed to replace the system with another one that has the same or better performance. They suggested this:

Now I'm not sure these meet up, or if the passive/active sub is as big a deal as people make it. Dionwired, Game, none of them seem to have a clue, so I'm humbly asking for advice and suggestions.
