I picked up these two units with the same problem, they appear cosmetically excellent and although different model numbers they are almost identical.....both units have extremely tight(almost seized motors)...when powering up they naturally wont spin up....i can turn the brass spindle by hand but its tight and wont spin freely.Would this be terminal?I would love to get one going, only one  cartridge(sp14) and belt came with the two, very pretty units....can the motor be stripped down and saved.....the bottom cover was removed and the unit looks in tiptop shape other than the motor issue....many thanks.
