B&W 684 OR 685 + SUB FOR STEREO LISTENING

Hi Forumites,

I have the opportunity to upgrade from a pair 685's to a pair of 684's or the alternative to add a B&W ASW610 sub to my 685 set-up. Has anyone had experience with a similar set-up and which was better for stereo?

I run the following stereo set-up:
Valve Audio Labs Pre-Amp
Rotel RB980BX
Marantz CD63 Modified
685's
VD Hull, Monster, Ixos Cables
