I have had to keep a lot of my vintage audio kit in storage over the last few years. I however had the opportunity to move it all back home and start sorting things out. Friday had me doing about 4 bakkie loads on 2 vehicles to get it all moved.
Then we had a few things go wrong at the same time.
The DM70's where on a flatbed vehicle.
Apparently not secured properly by the driver
He drove past an area known for not being very safe.
He took a turn a little too fast....
Being South Africa, you can imagine what happened next. My DM70 rolled off the side of the vehicle, was promptly picked up by someone who literally ran off with it!
So now I have a lonely DM70 with little prospects of ever finding a second.
