I assume that this has been covered in the past but please humour me.
I am finding that when I use a balanced connection with either the Focal Elegia or the Sennheiser HD600's the music seems to have more depth or dynamic range.
Is this a placebo effect or is this a genuine difference? I can understand that the 300 Ohm Sennheiser's may prefer more current but the Focal with their 35 Ohm impedance also seem to enjoy the extra current.
