I have treated the corners of my room with Uthermo8 150mm thick, 600mm wide and floor to ceiling straddling the 4 corners of my room and FRK'd the front facing panels. This made a HUGE difference. Bass is tighter, clearer and more agile than before and the midrange detail has also improved.
I then bought myself an M-Audio external sound card, the Beringer Mic, downloaded REW and have been pulling my hair out since then.
Looking at the following waterfall graph have 2 major suck outs at 50Hz and 200Hz and if I read it correctly some ringing at around 100Hz - not that I am noticing any boom in the room.
Where do I go from here? More bass traps? Chunk traps?
