For various unsolvable reasons, every 9-12 months, our outside drains get clogged.
Have at times (with some difficulty) solved it ourselves with the hose pipe, so the problem does not require an expensive motorized drain snake.
So instead of every time calling out a plumber at ~R1200 to snake the drain, what's the best solution tool for the job to DIY?
Options seem to differ:
From this: https://www.brights.co.za/product/tolsen-drain-snake-9mm-x-10m/
To this: https://www.brights.co.za/product/universal-drain-rod-set-12pc/
Looking to spend R600-800 for a decent solution...
Any advice? Things to look out for?
