I was asked to assist with an acoustic problem at my daughters school and thought many heads make lite work.
So just a quick intro, the building is an architectural masterpiece, fancy off shutter concrete, multiple triple volume vaulted ceilings with fancy sound absorbing ceilings. The class rooms below have large glass sliding doors which can be isolated but there are 3 open plan class on the mezzanine and the echo and noise just travels, teaching is a challenge as the noise levels just escalate as everyone competes to be heard.
