Last year I moved from a house into a townhouse. Although sufficiently sized for comfortable living the neighbors all really close on all sides. With the cones on my old Mission 704 barely moving the sound that comes from them really carries far, it sounds louder outside the house than inside. With my Kef bookshelfs I crank the volume up much higher before sounding like I`m running a nightclub from outside the house.
It seems like I will have to sell my beloved Mission and replace them with bookshelf to keep myself out of trouble. :'(
