I tried playing Lionel Richie Live BD without success on the Sony BDP 490S. It gets stuck at the 3.05 mark, which is the end of the 1st chapter, which is all the adverts for other titles from the publisher. The machine becomes totally non responsive to the remote control, and the only way to get the disc out is by pressing and holding the power on off button on the player for a few seconds.
This is the 1st time I have experienced any "fault" with this player. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Is it the disc or the player? I'm quite certain that I have played this disc on this player before without any problem. Perhaps a fault in the firmware? The disc works fine if I play in on the PS3.
Any ideas what could be wrong? Do I return the player, or is it acceptable to have a disc or two that is just not compatible?
