Hi Guys,
As per heading, my only means of transport has after almost 20 years closed a door on me. The complete lock mechanism has essentially disintegrated and deposited most of what it once was in the bottom part of the door frame. Now, I have heard many horror stories of how much these things cost to replace as well as the fact that it takes a lot of computer programming etc to make the car actually accept the new lock and key set.
Any advice from the learned guys on this forum as to what, how and where to have this all done and an approximate cost?
I am for once in someone else's hands and brains as to the way forward. I am stuck, this is where I reach out and ask.
