Hello fellow nerdy forumites,
My work machine is taking longer then normal to boot up of late, I normally have everything snappy and super speedy being a crazy nerd. The 10 second delay after putting in my windows login details is irritating me as it's not normal. I am running Windooze 7 pro.
Are there good programs that can be used to do a log while I am booting to see what processes / driver is causing this delay when trying to log into my machine?
I've done the standard stuff, checked MSCONFIG startup and made sure that there is nothing that looks unscrupulous as part of the start up process, likewise checked task manager for any apps / processes sucking up the CPU or RAM and cant seem to see anything untoward there either.
