Just had a visit from a friend who brought along a sub-woofer in Bose system not doing to well in his opinion. It sounds slow, lacks punch and definition. He claims it was not always like this and is driving him nuts. Any similar experiences with this satellite system: 2 small top - mid units which plug into a passive "sub woofer" which connects with the amplifier. Is it possibly something to do with the crossover or the bass driver. Would it make sense to take to speaker repairers to deal with?
He is driving it with a NAD 352 amplifier and using some NAD CD player. Any advice or assistance will be appreciated
