i could go for the the B&W 685 s1 for about R800.00 more, but this is a bookshelf 2-way, vs the Boston VR2 which is a 3-way floorstander with double the power rating. :nfi: :nfi:
The speakers are to serve as the front left and right speakers in a 5.1 setup.
The rest of the setup consists of:
onkyo tx -sr608 receiver
1 x Boston VRC (centre) (i will change this depending on the verdict on the fronts)
2 x Mission MV4 (surround)
2 x Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 (optional surround)
1 x PSB Subsonic 5i
My listening is 50% music and 50% movies.... loud...
but i do appreciate some accousti tracks and my flac audio files.
Staging and accuracy are important to me.
