Hi all
I have been shopping around for some speakers and from all the stuff I read I thought the Monitor Audio RX6 would be a good fit for my needs and in my price range but when I went to audition them they were pretty disappointing. They sounded very metallic and not very well round, the sales guy then setup a pair of CM8?s that had a much more appealing sound but is almost double the price ! so I started wondering about building my own?.
I was hoping you guys could give me some advice on building my own pair, what quality speaker will I be able to build with a 10K budget and is building your own a viable option for someone that?s not a carpenter or electronics expert ?
