Buzzing sound over NAD PP2

I have a weird buzzing sound when the PP2 is connected even when I disconnect the power for the TT. Only once I remove the power from the PP2 does it go away.

It's connected to the CD input on my AVR. Do you think I should change the inputs and see if it goes away or could there be a PP2 problem?
