Can Ohms blow a channel?

Good morning All

My Pioneer SA 508 amp is 8 ohms 4 Channels. Running Boston Accoustics A60 speakers also 8 Ohms as well as JPW monitors that I see is 6 Ohms. Usually play this setup on all four speakers but over this weekend the wife wanted some radio and when switched on only one channel was playing. Could this happen because  of the difference in Ohms? I fear this channel is blown now and amp is in for repairs.
