Car audio for home use

Iv'e had a Blaupunkt 12 inch dual voice coil sub lying around for some time now.( Model No. SBW 1208)

I'm guessing it's intended for car audio use, can anyone tell me:

(a) if it would be suitable for home use?
(b) what are the T/S figures?
