I'm thinking to fit a smallish sub to my car to give it a little body low down, fairly on the cheap. The amp bridged will give me 150W into 4 ohms (55Wpc into 4) says the spec sheet.

My main concerns are not using up too much boot space, and simplicity of installation. Was thinking of this guy - a 100W DLS 8" sub.  They recommend an 18 litre, 30cm 3" port for 46Hz.

It's not too expensive -- R800. The reference line is R1800, and no 8" units. Want to cut a hole in rear parcel shelf of old C-Class, and hang box below. Thoughts?
