I have done extensive reading on reviews of this particular tonearm and there seems to be consensus that it is not meant to be used with a MC Cartridge.  :vsad:
Apparently the bearings cannot handle the load that a MC puts onto the tonearm.

Suppose I should have "Googled" before I went and bought an Ortofon MC Tango  :facepalm:

So "Plan B" is to swap out the Linn for a Jelco SA-250ST on the AR TT and hope for better results?
