Hey AV Forums, Happy festive season!
I recently picked up a second hand Denon DCD-1015 from Facebook Marketplace, unit was in great physical condition and came in the box along with all the original manuals and remote.
Been loving the player so far, however it has been a bit fussy with which discs it chooses to read and when it chooses to read them. I can mostly get them to play after a couple of tries, however there are some discs that do not load at all.
After doing a bit of Googling, it seems like repairing or replacing the laser would be a possible fix. Not having any experience with such repairs myself, I wanted to check if there are any reputable CD repair technicians in Cape Town that could be recommended to have a look?
The unit sounds great when it does work, and I feel it would be a pity to let it go to waste!
