I need advice on something please. Gate motor beeped indicating no charge or low battery on Friday 2025/03/07. It is those with the LCD screen. I checked and battery low and then made sure charger is working.
I then went to Stafix and bought a new battery as the one in use was exactly 2 years old and went through a couple of load shedding cycles. So I presumed it was battery.
This morning 2025/03/11 it is showing low battery again. Charge controller/charger working. It show the charge plug and when I switch of mains to the motor it flashes indicating no AC to unit.
I suspect it might be charger not giving enough amps but is this even possible? I have a day/night light also connected to the AC line going to the motor. I removed it and will test when I get home what happened while I was at work.
