Just thought I'll share this. Changed the opamps on my Cambridge Audio 651p from NE5532 to LM4562 and the difference was quite huge. Normally A/B listening tests (maybe blind too) are the only way I can hear small differences but bliksem this made a difference. I can't believe that it came out with an average opamp and not a decent high performance audio one. Definitely a mod well worth it!!!!! and fairly cheap. $3 X 4 from digikey.
Think next I will attack the caps.
