chinese hifi

whenever im on ebay i come across many chinese hifi products from unknown(to me) companies and vendors.  these products(just about anything and everything) are very competitively priced. further googling reveals that many of these products are favourably reviewed on many american and canadian boards.many of them are described as being good value for money. does anyone have any knowledge/ experience of any particular brand/vendor.
