I am seriously considering taking the plunge here.
To my friends the digitally stored music boffins (you know who you are ;D)
Squeezebox touch & SB server etc. vs. one-box gadgets like a Mede8r: Ups, downs, pros, cons?
Some of the more apparent ones I can think of:
A Mede8r has no HDD redundancy and LAN port speed a limitation (presently 100 Mb/s only?), but then I can always keep a second copy of the HDD somewhere...
A SB is audio only, i.e. no ability to store movies (or should I just make peace that "never the twain shall meet?
