Does anyone have experience with CISA electric door locks? Can't find much information on the internet.
We've replaced our door bell, and I want to hook it up to the door lock - but the electric release mechanism stopped working with the old door bell - I think its a wiring issue to the lock, but the wiring behind the door bell was a nightmare, I managed to find the 12v for the doorbell - and the wires going to the door lock, now I just want to figure out how to wire it up, preferably someway to test it first.
Will the electric release fire if I just apply 12v to it?
