Yesterday a work colleague had an emergency operation. Colon cancer diagnosed at 40 years.
He had some mild discomfort for some time but delayed having it checked out.
I am told that it is an easy operation with a good prognosis.
Still, it is quite disconcerting to see others starting to drop around you. A comparatively less intense experience compared to being in a old age home and watching others being wheeled out?
