Hi there,

I have just paid for my wedding dress and am not happy with what I was given. I ordered an ivory gown and got cream. The lace is not correct either. The lady I got it from ordered it from china and said she will not get her money back because it was custom made. I paid R6 300 for the dress and she is willing to give me R4000 back so she can cover costs. Surely it is not my fault that the supplier messed up on her order. If I as a consumer am not happy with the end product surely I should get a full refund. Am I within my rights to ask her for the full amount or does is make a diff because it is a custom fit?

Please could anyone get back to me as soon as possible not really clued up the new consumer act.
