Ok, having chatted to a fellow forumite, I feel confident enough to explain myself.
I have noted that when I play system for extended periods or if its insanely hot the amps get pretty warm. I have tested it with a thermal camera so know exactly where the heat is generated. I have bought two little 'computer' fans and made up a proper little system to turn them on and off.
The question is, what is an optimal temperature to run? I am not blowing the air directly on to them but merely just allowing a better airflow through the cabinet. But I don't want to make it to cool either. I have proved the fans with the thermal camera's and it works a real gem.
Any ideas? What is the 'safe' zone?
