I have a very valuable recording of an audio diary of my parents on DAT. I'd like to transfer it to PC entirely in the digital domain. I have a TASCAM DA-30 MK II with a coaxial digital output I'd like to connect to my PC for transfer and then writing of the data to CD. Can anyone suggest an affordable sound card or suitable interface I may use?
I want to bypass an additional DAC-ADC process to maintain audio quality.
