1. Bought some USN diet fuel (when I travel it is a meal replacement for me) 6 months ago at Dischem - R369.00 per 2kg now R469.00 for the same product. (54% pa) (27% 6 months)

Got two quotes for my roofs.. two areas R7,500 each and decided to do the one side and check the work and then do the other side (Jun 2013)... long story did not do the other side... no rain decide to do the other side last week... email to quote of R7,500 and ask if it is the same price... 'No, prices have increased...' updates quote sends back now at R15,000.00 (100% increase)
3. Live on eggs in the morning... Eggs at the same dealer have increased 50% in the last year....
If I go buy some stuff like filter coffee it seems to go up from week to week.
Don't need to talk about electricity as we all know the annual increases.
Will not say SA is going to be in trouble.... we are there! Both Standard and Poor as well as Fitch rating agencies downgraded SA to 'negative' which is just above 'junk' which means that SA borrowing from the IMF (for example) will pay higher rates.
