DAC Novice - Need Advice

Right. Now that I have the Sony S-370 on the way I need some advice on how to connect up a DAC to it.

Is it possible for someone to explain this to me. What order do you place the units in and what connectors are used.

This is how I think it goes.

Sony S-370 output via Audio L+R jacks to avoid DAC of Sony. In to Audio L+R of DAC. Then out of DAC into Audio L+R of RX-V567 to avoid DAC in AV. This should give me a good music stereo sound?

Am I close or should I just take up golf as a hobby?
