Hey guys!
I recently received a Sennheiser Game Zero headset that has pleather pads. It replaced my AKG as my gaming headset. The AKG has velour pads and a 'leather' head-strap.
My face and bald head is oily, not excessively, but noticeably. The array of skin products I use to counter that is a testament.
Anyway, the Game Zero's seem to be oil magnets of note. I get out the shower and when I place them on and take them off there is oily marks on the pads.
This irks me a lot. Should I cope with it, or is it safe to wipe them off once I got to bed with a wet wipe or wet cloth? Im scared whatever I use will cause the pads to deteriorate much faster than it generally would.
How do you care for your headphones?
