I have seen members advertising old or vintage equipment as "good for its age" That to me is very arbitrary and can certainly be controversial. What does "good for its age" mean anyway? We do not all look after our belongings in the same manner and subjective values differ as well.

Old items should not be listed as good, just because it is old, but in poor condition. (You could separate cosmetic and sonic condition) Really, call a spade a spade... or is it a shovel?

What do you think?
