Hi everyone,
About a year ago I started working on a headphone design that was very much rooted in the design principles of Grado headphones. Over the last couple of months my focus shifted to creating headphone drivers for DIY headphone builders and I launched Nhoord Audio www.nhoord.com. The basic idea is to build your own pair of headphones that suits your tastes and have a final build that sounds great (Head-fi Reviews: http://www.head-fi.org/t/817108/grado-modders-go-nhoord) I also made a concise DIY guide on my site that lists the components you would need to build your own pair with suppliers details.
I?m going to be at the Pretoria Headphone meet-up on the 15th of September with a pair that I build up to listen to.
If you would like to know more about building your own pair, please ask away in this thread and I?ll answer as best I can.
