Do you sometimes take a break from Audio

With so much effort put into my audio system and collecting music, I am amazed at myself for there are periods that I do not use the system for days.

The amazing thing is, I do not even miss it.... (car audio is fine) until I hear a good piece of music- hunt it down and then listen to it at home.

Is this normal?
