Dolby Atmos 4 height speakers?

new to the forum so exited to share insights with the group!

So curious to know from others if the 'extra' two height speakers is worth it? What I'm trying to understand is will a 7.2 AV amp suffice or spend a little extra and get an 9.2 with the option of 4 height speakers or 2 rear surround speakers?
