My Naim preamp is in for a service (sticky relay) so I hauled out a budget Teac from the 80's. The only problem is I seem to prefer the sound. I do miss having tone controls on the Naim but it always sounded good, it's just that the Teac sounds a bit more alive.
Any recommendations for a lively integrated if I sell the Naim pre and power? There was something recently for R5000 which I was very tempted by but I can't remember what it was.
