My HD PVR is acting up again.
Programs that I am watching live and the one's I per-recorded does this. Playback is smooth but every 2 or up to every 5 minutes or so there is some juddering, freeze frames. As if the HDD is having a hard time searching or keeping up, or as if the ram is too full. When I rewind the part, it plays smoothly, so it is not how it was recorded. It usually happened only when watching something and when the recording of another program starts. No it happens without a new program starting to record. I must say I never switch off my PVR as I tend to get problems when switching it on. Why does it sometimes feel as slow as my outdated computer, other times it does not?
