Not wanting to sound like a fanboy, but thought some on here may benefit from this. I recently flew through Dubai (as Durban is one of their routes, for convenience I try to do this whenever flying abroad) and had expiring skywards (air) miles through Emirates. They have a deal with Dubai Duty Free such that you can spend airmiles in any of their duty free shops in transit. A pair of decent noise cancelling Bluetooth headphones and some smokes and I’ve used the expiring miles. Just a heads up (you can even buy a coffee or burger with them!)
